20th Ward Back to School Picnic

Come out for lots of fun at the 2nd Annual Back to School Picnic, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. in Washington Park, from 400 E. to 600 E. on 60th Street. There will be fishing for kids, horses, track and field events, a climbing wall, food, music and family fun.

Health Fair
In addition to food and fun, this year we are offering health screenings and immunizations provided by St. Bernard Hospital.  Health Screenings will include testing for: cholesterol, blood pressure and diabetes.  Both the cholesterol and diabetes screening require at least 4 hours of fasting. (But remember we'll have plenty of food for you to eat right after the test!!!)

School Immunizations
For your child to be immunized a parent must be present and you must bring their shot records.

If you, or your neighbors or friends would like to volunteer, please contact the 20th Ward Public Service Office at (773) 955-5610.  There will be a volunteer meeting on Thursday, July 31st at 6 p.m. in our office.
